When my college minister Kaylee from the South Plains College Wesley Foundation called to tell me about my friend Katie Forget's diagnosis with stage 3 colon cancer, all I could do was pray.
I prayed for God to take away my worries and to take care of Katie. I then started scanning the radio. The station it stopped on was playing my favorite band, Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing’” It was right at the chorus and couldn’t have come on at a better time.
